Overview
Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve jyotirlinga of Shiva. The temple is located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river, in the Rudraprayag district of state Uttarakhand. Every year thousands of pilgrims visit this place to seek blessings from Lord Shiva. Due to extreme weather conditions, the temple is open to the general public only between the months of April (Akshaya Tritiya) and November (Kartik Purnima, the autumn full moon). During the winters, the vigraha (deity) of the temple is carried down to Ukhimath to be worshipped for the next six months.
The holy temple of Lord Shiva who is considered the embodiment of all passions - love, hatred, fear, death, and mysticism which are expressed through his various forms. Kedarnath is one of the Char Dhams in Uttarakhand and considered the most important among the Panch Kedar. This sacred temple is situated at an altitude of 3,586 meters offering breathtaking heavenly mountain views. "Kedar" means 'powerful' which is another name of Lord Shiva, the protector, and destroyer. The spectacular aura, snow-clad mountains, and breathtaking landscape makes the Kedarnath trek even more interesting and hence people visit in large numbers every year. Itinerary
DAY 1 Mumbai /Pune to Delhi / Haridwar
- We board the Train from Bandra Terminus Or (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus), Depends on Train (Pls confirm train name and timings at booking time) To Delhi / Haridwar
- Individuals originating from Pune commence their travel in Train,subsequently uniting with us at Boarding station

DAY 2 Reach Haridwar and Stay in Hotel
- Upon arrival in Delhi, our journey will commence towards Haridwar via train or bus. We anticipate reaching Haridwar in the evening. Renowned as the "Devbhoomi" of India, located in Uttarakhand, Haridwar holds significant cultural and spiritual importance. Upon reaching Haridwar, we will proceed with hotel check-in arrangements and accommodation for the duration of our stay.

Day 3 Haridwar to sonprayag (apx 235km/8hrs)
- In the early morning, we commence our journey to Sonprayag via bus, relishing the scenic views of the Ganga throughout the trip. A short stop is planned at Devprayag to witness the confluence of the Alaknanda and the Bhagirathi, giving rise to the sacred Ganga River.
- Upon reaching Sonprayag, arrangements for hotel accommodation/home stay/ camping will be made. We will have an overnight stay at Sonprayag, Guptkashi, or Sitapur, as per the arrangements

Day 4 Sonprayag to Kedarnath( 21kms trek)
- We start our journey Sonprayag to Gaurikund by local Taxi.Our Actual 21km Trek starts from Gaurikund. In route, we will encounter various camps such as Jungle Chatti, Bheembali, and Linchauli. On the opposite side of the path, a poignant sight awaits us – the remnants of the old route to Kedarnath, severely affected by the intense floods of 2013. Arriving at Kedarnath in the afternoon, we will proceed with check-in at a hotel/ homestay/ tent accommodation.
- Subsequently, a visit to the Kedarnath Temple is planned, In evening we also witness Kedarnath temple aarti. Enjoy a serene moment by the banks of the rushing Mandakini River, capturing the picturesque valley views. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 5 Kedarnath Temple To sonprayag(21km)
- After witnessing the enchanting sunrise at the temple, featuring the magnificent Kedarnath peak adorned ingolden hues, we initiate our descent to Gaurikund early in the morning. Upon reaching Sonprayag by afternoon, we promptly check-in at our pre-arranged hotel/ homestay/ tent accommodation. Our accommodation in Sonprayag / Sitapur will extend throughout the night.

Day 6 Sonprayag- Rishikesh (200kms/8hrs)
- In the morning, we will proceed to Rishikesh, renowned as the global hub for yoga. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, we will promptly check-in at our designated hotel for our stay.

Day 7 Explore Rishikesh and Haridwar
- Experience thrilling adventure sports such as river rafting and bungee jumping. Additionally, partake in the Ganga Aarti ceremony along the banks of the Ganga Riverin Haridwar and also Explore Haridwar and some time for shopping .Overnight stay will be arranged in Haridwar.

Day 8 Start Return Journey from Haridwar
- Check out from hotel in morning aftter that we board train from Haridwar railway station to Delhi and from Delhi we have to catch another train for Mumbai / Pune

- Please confirm on call about the seats availability before paying.

- Kindly note that Kedarnath trips come with its own setup of ups and downs and there is alot of mismanagement and uncontrollable situations that happens due to roadblocks extreme crowd, the permit lines,vehicle isues,climate changes etc.

- Food and Stay arrangements are done as per the availability & locations so kindly don't expect too luxurious.
- Backpacking trips are arranged for the people who are looking out for pocket friendly trips and are more about chasing experiences.
- The facilities provided are good to go for a trip at backpacking budget. Incase of Triple / quad sharings rooms are provided with extra mattress.
- We need at least 12-14 Travellers to Manage our Trip, so our team reserves all the rights to cancel the Trip if the minimum batch size is not enough.
